Grand Valley names new dean of University Libraries
Grand Valley State University Provost Gayle R. Davis has announced the appointment of Annie Bélanger as dean of University Libraries. Bélanger will bring with her to Grand Valley a diverse professional background, having worked in a variety of roles in most types of libraries, ranging from corporate and governmental to academic.

Alumna helps students with disabilities study abroad
Juanita Lillie, who was born with a degenerative eye disease, dismissed naysayers who said it was too dangerous for her to study abroad. After a successful trip to Costa Rica, Lillie has founded a company that provides resources to other students with disabilities who want to travel and study abroad.
