Ott Lecture to focus on energy challenges of the 21st century

Thomas Meyer, Director of the Energy Frontier Research Center on Solar Fuels at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, will be the featured speaker for the Ott Lecture on March 23. Ancient text translated for modern theater production of Helen

Since 2016, Diane Rayor, professor of classics, has been translating ancient texts written by Greek playwright Euripides that provide an alternative plot to the Helen of Troy legend. Collaborating with students and faculty, Rayor has further adapted Euripides' writing into a modern stage production of "Helen," which will be performed by Grand Valley students March 24-April 2.
