Higher Education Students Present at NASPA Annual Conference

Mariana Naddaf ‘16 and ReChard Peel ‘17, students in the M.Ed. in Higher Education program, presented sessions at the 2016 NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education) Annual Conference held in Indianapolis, Indiana. Naddaf was lead presenter for a session on Coming Home: Study Abroad in an Area Representative of One’s Heritage and Peel co-presented a session on Intersectionality as a Tool for Leading Courageous Change in Higher Education.
NASPA is the leading association for the advancement, health, and sustainability of the student affairs profession. NASPA serves a full range of professionals who provide programs, experiences, and services that cultivate student learning and success in concert with the mission of colleges and universities. Established in 1918 and founded in 1919, NASPA is comprised of over 15,000 members in all 50 states, 25 countries, and 8 U.S. Territories (NASPA, n.d.). Congratulations to both students!
