Payne International Development Fellowship

Do you want to tackle pressing global problems such as poverty, health, climate change, social conflicts, and others? How about doing so in an international setting? Look no further than the Donald M. Payne International Development Fellowship Program!

The Payne Fellowship is in partnership with the Foreign Service of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). They look for individuals interested in pursuing careers in advancing U.S. foreign policy goals in humanitarian efforts. The Fellowship will support a two-year master's degree program at a U.S. institution, with awards contributing to tuition as well as related expenses. A successful completion of the Fellowship, as well as the entry requirements for the agency, will have the individual receiving appointments as USAID Foreign Service Officers.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens seeking to enter a graduate program in fall 2023. Deadline for applications is November 4, 2022.
