Michigan Historical Review Calls for Submissions!

The Michigan Historical Review is now accepting essay submissions for their 2022 Graduate Student Essay Prize!
The semiannual journal is in search for graduate student papers that explore themes relating to Michigan's history to publish in their Spring 2023 issue. In addition to the publication, the winner will also receive a $1,000 prize.
Submissions must:
- Use primary source research and represent an addition to historical knowledge;
- Include 10,000-15,000 words, double-spaced, and footnoted (do not include author's name anywhere within the manuscript); and
- Include a cover letter with the author's name and name of the graduate school program.
The submission deadline is July 1, 2022. Papers will be judged on originality, research, style, and proper documentation. Interested graduate students can send their submissions to [email protected].
