Beverly Harkem is a recent graduate from the Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership program at GVSU. She was selected as a recipient of the 2019 SEIGov Student Paper of the Year Award. SEIGov, the Section on Ethics and Integrity in Governance, is one of 28 special interest groups that makes up the American Society for Public Administration. Beverly will be presented her award at the 2020 SEIGov Annual Business Meeting in Anaheim, California. Her paper was a product of her PA 619 course taken at GVSU entitled “Autonomy in Philanthropy: A Model for Nonprofit Organizations”. A huge congrats to Beverly for receiving this national prestigious award!
