Presentation by Dr. Laiyin Zhu, Western Michigan University

Dr. Zhu's presentation will provide you an overview of variations of tropical cyclones under climate change and peoples’ possible mitigation strategies and their outcomes.

He will introduce research topics ranging from tropical cyclone precipitation reconstruction and modeling, urban flooding, hurricane power outages modeling, to agent-based modeling of people’s mitigation behavior in repeated hurricane disasters.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
