Public Health inducts members of honor society

Members of Grand Valley's first honor society for public health are pictured.

The newly established Zeta Gamma chapter of the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health at Grand Valley held its inaugural induction ceremony April 16. 

More than 30 students, faculty, alumni and honorary members were recognized. 

Criteria for the honor society include a minimum GPA of 3.85 and outstanding performance in scholarship, teaching, research and community service. Election to Delta Omega recognizes merit and encourages devotion to public health work and a connection to GVSU's Public Health Department.

Delta Omega has more than 130 active chapters.
