Family Health Center opens second clinic in Finkelstein Hall

The GVSU Family Health Center, operated by the Kirkhof College of Nursing, has opened a convenience clinic in Finkelstein Hall, room 203, on the Health Campus for students, faculty and staff members.

Tamara Van Kampen, practice manager, said the clinic is open two days a week. Nurse practitioners will evaluate minor illnesses like seasonal allergies, flu-like symptoms, joint pain, ear infections, and more.

Hours for the convenience clinic are Mondays from 8 a.m.-noon and Wednesdays from 1-5 p.m. Walk-ins and scheduled appointments are available. Campus community members will need to bring a photo ID and a copy of their insurance card.
