other outlets about the local job outlook following Steelcase Inc.'s
sale announcement to a competitor.
Student Life's Registered Student Organization team
received two awards for Best Branding and Most Creative Marketing
Strategy from Suitable, the software company used for LakerLink.

University Photographers' Association of America (UPAA) Annual Photo Competition:
Cory Morse, photographer for University
Communications, received an honorable mention in the Campus
Environment category at the University Photographers' Association of
America (UPAA) Annual Photo Competition for a drone photo of Little
Mac Bridge.
Jim Penn, professor of geography and sustainable
planning, wrote a chapter, "Community-based Field Research and
Intercultural Student Experiences: Tropical Rainforest Experiential
Learning in the Peruvian Amazon," for the book Experiential
Learning in Geography: The World as our Classroom, published by Springer.
Katie Jourdan, assistant director of Health Promotion
and Prevention, received the New Professionals Affiliate Award from
the Mid-America College Health Association and the American College
Health Association.
