Grand Valley's Department of Public Safety invites the campus community to participate in campus night walks on the Allendale, Health and Pew Grand Rapids campuses.

Chief Brandon DeHaan said the night walks allow GVPD and community members to see campus through each other’s eyes, supporting a better understanding of public safety’s role and developing connections between officers and the community they serve.

All night walks will begin at 7:15 p.m., and last about two hours. Registration is limited to 30 people at each walk. Dates and locations are listed below.

  • October 3, Allendale, meet at Service Building, 11106 Service Drive

  • October 8, Grand Rapids, meet at DeVos Center, University Club room

  • October 10, Health Campus, meet at DeVos Center for Interprofessional Health, room 102
