Paul Hillman, affiliate faculty of practice, management, and Presidential Fellow for Innovation and Research, gave a presentation, "XR Innovation at the Seidman College of Business," at the Detroit Immerse and Connect Summit. Nine GVSU students attended alongside Hillman, giving them a unique opportunity to hear from industry experts.
Miloš Topić, chief digital officer; Eric Kunnen, senior director IT innovation + research; and Joseph Van Harken, innovator-in-residence, accepted the CIO 100 award on behalf of GVSU, honoring Van Harken’s work building ProfAI as part of the university’s growing Blue Dot Innovation Lab ecosystem.

Ian Winkelstern, assistant professor of geology, was a co-author of an article, "Triple Oxygen Isotope Constraints on the Hydroclimate that Sustained Pleistocene Lake Bonneville," published in Geology.
