Potteiger named acting dean of KCON
Jeffrey Potteiger, dean of the College of Health Professions, was named acting dean of the Kirkhof College of Nursing after Linda Lewandowski resigned.
In an email to KCON faculty and staff, Provost Jennifer Drake said Lewandowski resigned from Grand Valley for personal reasons. Potteiger will continue to serve as dean of CHP while assuming leadership of KCON.
"Jeff is an experienced, thoughtful leader who brings a calm and steady presence, listens deeply and leads with collaboration and care," Drake said in her message.
"He has worked across our Health Campus for many years and already has strong relationships with KCON faculty and staff and many of our external partners. Jeff and the KCON leadership team have already begun working together to provide continuity and stability for the college."
