More than 65 people attended the kickoff to the University Communicator Network (UCN), hosted by University Communications staff members on January 23 at the Alumni House.

UCN supports campus community members who are responsible for social media, newsletters, and general communications for their department or division by providing university messaging, resources and best practices. Chris Knape, assistant vice president for University Communications, said UCN also opens doors for campus communicators to contribute content to university publications like Forum, GVNext and Grand Valley Magazine.

A UCN newsletter will be distributed monthly. Sign up for the newsletter by filling out this web form. Faculty and staff who subscribe to University Communications' Social Media Newsletter will automatically receive the UCN newsletter.

Save the date for the next UCN meeting on April 9 at 3 p.m. at the Alumni House.
