Evelyn R. Micelotta is an Associate Professor and holder of the Steven Grossman Endowed Chair in Family Business at the University of Vermont's Grossman School of Business. She received a PhD in Strategic Management and Organization from the Alberta School of Business (University of Alberta, Canada) and a PhD in Management Engineering from Milan Polytechnic.

Dr. Micelotta is an FFI (Family Firm Institute) Fellow and Certified Advisor. In her career as a researcher and instructor, Dr. Micelotta has focused on the strategic challenges of various organizations, with a special interest in family enterprises. She is the Co-Editor in Chief of the academic journal Family Business Review and a Senior Editor of Organization Studies. She is the author of a book of family firms in the Cambridge Elements in Organization Theory series. She regularly presents her work at international conferences.

As part of a fourth-generation family-owned Argentinean firm, Dr. Rodrigo Basco has always been deeply interested in the nuances of family businesses. He is currently a Professor at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) in the United Arab Emirates, holding the Sheikh Saoud bin Khalid bin Khalid Al-Qassimi Chair in Family Business. Dr. Basco serves as the Board Chairman of the STEP Project Global Consortium and is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Family Business Strategy. His research focuses on entrepreneurship, management, and regional development, with a particular interest in family firms. He has taught economics, management, and family business courses at universities in Spain, Chile, and Germany.

Dr. Basco was ranked among the World's Top 2% most-cited scientists by Stanford University and recognized as one of the top 5 most productive researchers in the field of family business by Texas University. His research has been published in leading international academic journals, including the Journal of Family Business Strategy, European Planning Studies, Family Business Review, European Management Journal, Journal of Management & Organization, Journal of Business Research, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, Business Strategy and the Environment, Harvard Business Review Arabia, and International Small Business Journal.

Dr. Basco has recently edited several special issues on topics such as “Family Business and Regional Development,” “Entrepreneurial Families in Business Across Generations, Contexts, and Cultures,” “Family Business,” “Local Development in Ibero-America,” and “Family Business in the Arab World.” He is an editorial board member for several leading academic journals and has authored and coedited several books on family firms, including the academic book Family Business and Regional Development published by Routledge. Recently, he published the Family Business Management textbook, which has become one of the leading books for family business education worldwide.

Additionally, Dr. Basco was a visiting professor at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca (Italy). Before joining AUS, he was a postdoctoral scholar at the Witten Institute for Family Business at the University of Witten/Herdecke in Germany and a visiting researcher at the University of Edinburgh (Scotland) and CeFEO at Jönköping University.

Professor Dr. Nadine Kammerlander has been a professor at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management since 2015. Prior to that she was an assistant professor at the University of St. Gallen. Nadine Kammerlander holds a degree in physics (TU Munich) and a doctorate in business administration (Otto-Friedrich University Bamberg). For several years she worked for McKinsey & Company and advised international companies in the automotive and semiconductor industries on product development projects, mainly in the USA and Mexico.

In teaching and research, she focuses on innovation, employees and governance in family businesses and family offices. Her scientific contributions have been published in international journals (i.e. AMJ, AMR, JMS, JBV, ETP, JPIM, FBR, SBE) and have been awarded renowned research prizes. She is co-editor of the international journal "Family Business Review", member of several editorial review boards (i.e. JOM, ETP, SEJ and JPIM), and collaborates with family businesses and international researchers in a wide variety of projects. Additionally, she is part of the DFG network "Venturing Together".

Nadine Kammerlander is a member of the Innovation Advisory Committee of DESY. Furthermore, she is a member of the expert advisory board of the "Wirtschaftswoche Best of Mittelstand Consulting" competition and of the jury of the "Wirtschaftswoche Supermaster" competition. She is also a member of the commission for the revision of the Code of Conduct for Family Enterprises and a member of the Future Council for Sustainable Development in Rhineland-Palatinate.

Isabel C. Botero, Ph.D. is the George E. and Mary Lee Fischer Chair in Family Entrepreneurship in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Louisville Kentucky. She is an advisor at Generation 6 Family Enterprise Advisors, a Fulbright Scholar, and a Fellow for the Family Firm Institute. She holds an Advanced Certificate in Family Wealth Advising and is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA).

Her research focuses on the preparation of next-generation members in business families, strategic communication processes, governance, and entrepreneurial business families as they relate to their family enterprises. She is an associate editor for the journal of family business strategy and a past FOBI Scholar. Her work has been published in multiple family business, management, and communication journals and books. She also holds a board position at IFERA - International Family Enterprise Research Academy.

Eric Clinton is Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship at DCU Business School, and Director of the DCU National Centre for Family Business. He received his Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship from the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School UCD Ireland. His research interests are primarily concerned with strategic entrepreneurial practices in multi-generational family firms. Demonstrating the practical relevance of his research, Eric has presented to family businesses in many countries including UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Mexico, China, and the USA. Eric is a Board Member of the Global STEP Project and he serves on the Editorial Review Board of Family Business Review and International Small Business Journal.

Dr. Hanqing “Chevy” Fang's research primarily focuses on family firms, entrepreneurship, and strategic management. His works have appeared in journals such as Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Global Strategy Journal, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Product Innovation Management, among others. Dr. Fang serves in the Editorial Review Board for Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Family Business Review and Journal of Family Business Strategy.

Anneleen Michiels, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Finance and Family Business at Hasselt University, Belgium, where she teaches finance at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels. At the Research Center for Entrepreneurship and Family Business, her research focuses on the influence of money on the family business and the business family and is published in international academic as well as practitioner-oriented journals. As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), a Family Wealth Advising certificate holder from the Family Firm Institute (FFI), and the founder of executive courses for family wealth advisors at UHasselt, she is passionate about bridging the gap between academia and practice. She is a former Chair of the Strategic Interest Group on Family Business Research at the European Academy of Management (EURAM).

Dr. Isabel C. Botero is an educator, researcher and consultant in the areas of management and family enterprise. She obtained her Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Her areas of specialty include strategic communication processes, communication in and about family enterprises, influence processes in organizations, and next generation issues in family enterprises.

Dr. Botero has been a full time faculty at Illinois State University and the University of Minnesota Duluth; an adjunct instructor at the University of Kentucky, DePaul University, and the University of Illinois Springfield; and a visiting scholar in the College of Business and Social Science at Aarhus University in Denmark.

Dr. Daniel Holt has an eclectic background with degrees in electrical engineering, environmental management, human resource development, and management. Before joining the Business Bulldogs of Mississippi State University, he retired after 20 years of active duty as an officer in the United States Air Force who worked as an engineer all over the world, from Myrtle Beach to Uzbekistan, earning a bronze star for his service in the Middle East.

He is an avid learner who is a licensed panhandler, bartender, bulldozer operator, and graphologist, and a proud member of the Mississippi State University faculty. He has shared his research on family firm management, innovative thinking, and organizational analysis in over 35 publications.

Josip Kotlar is Associate Professor at the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano (Italy), where he leads the Innovation & Strategy research group dedicated to research, education and business engagement around topics such as innovation, strategic renewal and family business.

His research has been published in leading academic journals including Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Academy of Management Perspectives, Family Business Review and Journal of Family Business Strategy. His research has received more than 6,000 citations, won several awards, and is frequently featured in business press and media.

He is founder and scientific director of the Italian Family Office Observatory and the Open Innovation Outlook Observatory at Politecnico di Milano. He is Associate Editor of Family Business Review and member of the Editorial Review Boards of Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice and Journal of Family Business Strategy. Since 2022, he serves as the President of the International Family Enterprise Research Academy (IFERA).
