  1. Decrease Density in the workplace to mitigate exposure
  2. Incorporate flexible arrangements if feasible
  3. Allow fully remote work if feasible
  4. Stagger on-site work schedules
  5. Promote virtual connections and virtual participation in meetings
  6. Support and enable physical distancing

Guidelines for Acrylic Screens and Barriers

  1. Receptionist desks and transaction counters which receive outside guests with brief face to face interaction
    • Option 1:  Desk top acrylic screen 32” high x 48” wide
    • Option 2:  Where option 1 is not feasible, ceiling hung acrylic screen
    • Option 3:  Where option 1 &2 are not feasible, custom acrylic screen
  2. Cubicle walls shorter than 65” where there is brief interaction and 6’ social distancing cannot be achieved
    • Custom acrylic screen
  3. Open areas where there is brief interaction and 6’ social distancing cannot be achieved and above options are not feasible
    • Freestanding mobile acrylic screens, 48” wide x 72” high
  4. Large open areas where lines form and crowd control and signage are necessary to support 6’ social distancing
    • Crowd control stanchions

Guidelines for Floor Stickers

  1. Office areas where lines tend to form – stickers placed 6’ apart
  2. Student service areas where lines tend to form – stickers placed 6’ apart
  3. Dining and Retail areas where lines tend to form – stickers placed 6’ apart

Guidelines for Furniture

  1. Offices – no furniture changes.  Distance guest chair from faculty/staff chair by a minimum of 6’ distance
  2. Office Suites – guest seating areas.  Distance open seating by a minimum of 6’.  Place "Do Not Sit" (D-N-S) signage on dormant seating. 
  3. Conference Rooms - distance open seating by a minimum of 6’.  Remove and store excess furniture.
  4. Student service areas (monitored)– distance open seating by a minimum of 6’.  Remove and store excess furniture or place D-N-S signage on dormant seating.
  5. Student gathering areas (un-monitored) – distance open seating by a minimum of 6’.  Remove and store excess furniture or wrap dormant seating.
  6. Student study areas (un-monitored)– distance open seating by a minimum of 6’. Remove and store excess furniture or wrap dormant seating.
  7. Dining Areas (un-monitored) - distance open seating by a minimum of 6’. Remove and store excess furniture.

Guidelines for Social Distancing Signage

  1. D-N-S Signage – “Do Not Sit - please practice social distancing” – Placed on dormant furniture and wrapped furniture
