The proposed project is the construction of additional restroom and concession facilities at the north end of Lubbers Stadium to support the continually increasing demand while also providing additional viewing opportunities. This project will add approximately (19) men’s and (24) women’s toilets and (2) family friendly restrooms and triple the concessions capabilities between an upper and lower level. This project would also help GVSU meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations by providing accessible access to the press box, president’s box and the upper seating sections via a new elevator and sidewalks. This project will minimize the need for pedestrians to walk up the hill along the northwest corner of the stadium. The project is planned to be completed for the start of the 2024 football season.
