- PathwayU: Discover your path to purpose with PathwayU! This new career tool provides scientific insight on your interests, values, personality, and workplace preferences, which allow you to identify career paths that fit your unique set of characteristics. PathwayU guides you to meaningful education and career paths and arms you with the tools you need to make informed decisions
- O*Net: O*Net is a comprehensive tool for career exploration and job analysis! It has detailed descriptions of the world of work for use by job seekers, workforce development and HR professionals, students, researchers, and more!
- What Can I Do With This Major?: Whether you’re exploring majors or searching for information about your chosen field, this website will help. Learn typical career areas and types of employers that hire in these fields, as well as strategies to make you a more marketable candidate. Continue your research through the websites provided.
- Self-Guided Assessment: If you are an exploratory or undecided student or you are in-between majors, you are in the position to explore and investigate all the possibilities that are available to you. It is also the time to discover who you are and what career field best fits you. Getting started can sometimes be confusing. Students often have no idea where to start, where to find resources available to help them, or how to proceed. This self-guided path for choosing a major takes you through three steps to being the process of identifying your major.
- Handshake: A career platform designed specifically for college students to discover job and internship opportunities tailored to their interests and experience. It connects you with employers looking to hire students and offers tools to help you build your profile, apply for positions, and schedule interviews.
- Career Center Resume Guide: Career Center’s Resume Guide walks you through creating a resume by first asking for your experiences and then focusing on those most relevant to the opportunity you're targeting. This guide provides tips on how to word your resume while also offering formatting tips to ensure readability and employability.
- Candid Career: A video library featuring thousands of short (typically 1–3 minutes) interviews with real industry professionals, offering honest insights into what their jobs are like and how they got there. You can explore by major, industry, or job title. You can also find practical “Get Hired” videos on topics like resume writing, interviewing, and networking.
