Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience

I learned how to proactively collaborate with other co-workers in marketing, engineering, and design. I learned about Steelcase its products, the product engineering, the development phases, and terminology. I acquired how to proficiently use PRO/E.

Favorite Part of the Experience

1. Being able to work on an existing problem on a product. Specifically to brainstorm ideas than to prototype these ideas and final resolve the issue with approval from design and marketing for the future of a product. 2. The many intern events which broadened my mind with questions and potential direction for my future. 3. Another favorite was to see and understand the interaction between design and engineering and the collaboration needed on both ends.

How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals

These experiences have given me a glimpse and affirmation in some ways as to what I wish to do down the road.
