Twisthink is a company focused on technology and strategic design. It is company that has a very diverse customer base. Twisthink does specialize in embedded system design for wireless and RF technology.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
Some tasks I completed where top level designs of a project and bench marking competitor pricing. I worked on a project that involved putting circuits together in the lab. Another big job I had was going through all the pin connections on a schematic for a circuit we had designed.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I gained a lot of knowledge in embedded systems and design. I also improved my soldering skills and learned some more soldering techniques. I also learned a lot about decisions regarding part selection and decision matrices.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of this co-op experience was working in the lab and soldering components together.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
This co-op experience gave me a little more direction in regards to what exactly I would like to be doing for the next part of my life. It really showed me how fun the hands on work can be on a daily basis.
