Throughout the semester I worked closely with technicians and Engineers to help develop parts through the prototype phase of development.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
In my experience I gained knowledge of how to design various types of mounts to fit specifications provided my customers. I also learned the process used for evaluating potential suppliers. I was also introduced to different methods used to fix problems which may arise through the production of parts.
Favorite Part of the Experience
I enjoyed the fast paced atmosphere and the availability and willingness of my coworkers to help me when needed.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
The experience has solidified my goals of becoming and engineer and has started to help me develop an idea of what types of opportunities there are throughout my career.
