it was a campaign for Bridget McCormack, she was running for state supreme court justice. my manager selected people from several universities to spread the word about Bridget. pass out flyers, register people to vote, and talk to school organization and Bridget.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
i recruited volunteers and together we passed out flyers, hung up posters, did a phone bank every week, registered people to vote and spoke to organizations about why they should vote for Bridget
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
the skills i gained from this was public speaking. i had to talk to school organizations and explain to them why Bridget was the best candidate and why she deserved a seat on the court. the knowledge i gained from this experience was learning just how much work goes into a good campaign. and how dedicated and hardworking everyone needs to be for the campaign to run well
Favorite Part of the Experience
my favorite part of this experience was everything i learned about the campaign process. my future goal is to be a supreme court justice, so learning about the process of becoming one was very beneficial.
