Description of the Organization
The Grand Rapids Gold are an NBA G-League team, affiliated with the Denver Nuggets. The team, as of the creation of this post, consists of nine members.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
We were tasked with the preparation and carrying out of in-game tasks such as promotions, give aways, mopping court, assisting home and visitor benches, and the setup and tear down of advertising banners.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
People skills, time management skills, professionalism, learning how to read a game script, and how to operate mics.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of this internship was the people I met. You can do some really great networking within this internship.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
It helped steer me in the direction I want to go. You experience many things, so it is a great way to test the waters and choose a part of the sport industry.
