Description of the Organization
Broadway Grand Rapids is continuously expanding. They continue to bring the best of Broadway to Grand Rapids. They strive to give everyone the opportunity to experience the magic of Broadway. They have a small staff which I have learned was beneficial. Not only was I able to learn from my supervisor but also from the other staff as well.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
-Assist in managing social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter -Create, publish and distribute social media content -Monitor and engage with the community by responding to comments/messages -Contribute to the planning, and execution of marketing campaigns to promote upcoming events. -Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas, and contribute to campaign planning. -Assist with scheduling of volunteers and communicate the responsibilities and duties - Faciliate various administrative tasks related to marketing and communications

Favorite Part of the Experience
I can not choose one thing that was my favorite during this internship. I was given so many different and unique opportunities during my time there. I was able to set up interviews, do behind-the-scenes for media, and talk in front of the board, aside from social media and marketing. It has been such a great experience I loved it all. I have learned so much valuable information during my time there that will be beneficial in my career down the line.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
My internship at Broadway Grand Rapids has been great regarding connecting with other individuals in the industry. It has helped me make work relationships that can be beneficial in the future. The internship has also opened a part-time job position for me when I graduate in April.
