Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
While working at Koops I got to experience first hand the design process of creating automation systems. Some of the projects I was assigned during my time at Koops was working side by side with other engineers to design automated systems. Another project I was assigned to was updating older automated machines. All of these task contained a great deal of engineering work such as design analysis, technical drawings, stress and strain analysis, and etc.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
The time I spent at Koops majority of the design work was done on Computer Aided Design software. Therefore, some skills I pick up was top notch design practices such as design intent, design practicality, safety requirements, and much more. I also learn a large amount on automation systems and everything that is involved. Another important skill I picked up while being apart of the Koops team was good communication skills. This is really important because ideas are constantly being shared to insure the best quality possible.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of this internship would have to be meeting all the new people at Koops. It is such a great team to be apart of, and everyone there has such great core values.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
This experience has giving me a reassuring feeling that I am pursuing the right career.
