Inrad is a smaller company. They have a CEO, a president, an engineering manager, a regulatory manager, and an operations manager. They also have three engineers. They manufacture medical devices, especially biopsy devices.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
Being a smaller company, I completed a variety of projects, including research, product testing, developing manufacturing methods, and product development.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I gained skills in research writing, CAD, product design, and quality assurance.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of my internship experience was developing and testing prototypes. I spent a lot of time being creative and coming up with new ideas to solve complex problems.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
It has reaffirmed my resolve to pursue a career in the medical device industry.
