Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
During my final rotation of my engineering co-op experience, I was largely treated as an entry level engineer. In this time I was tasked with designing and implementing embedded system programs.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
Through the experience at X-Rite I gained skills in designing and implementing professional level code in embedded systems. As well as how to effectively communicate with others, both inside and outside of the engineering and science fields.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part was getting see the day to day life an entry level engineer goes through, and being able to further solidify my understanding of the engineering processes.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
For me, this co-op experience has proven to me that I am in the right major since I enjoy the work that I do.
