Description of the Organization
Envirotronics makes environmental test chambers. Chambers conduct thermal, solar, water, and vibration testing depending on the chamber ordered.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
Produced CAD drawings, modified prints, created parts in Pro Engineer. I also ended up doing more and more work on chambers and was assigned my own chamber as well. I also worked with other engineers to design their chambers.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I gained a better understanding of Pro E along with practical experience with drawings for use in production. It helped me to work on my designers mindset so that I can think about how the part needs to be made and if it is possible.
Favorite Part of the Experience
Working on chamber designs with other engineers. Also doing my own chamber was a lot of fun.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
It has given me valuable design experience that I can apply to any future employment.
