Description of the Organization
Innotec is an automated manufacturing company that primarily produces parts for the automotive industry. Most of the automation is custom designed and built by engineers.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
This semester I worked on a launch machine (a brand new automated machine in the building phase getting it ready to start running). I tackled multiple projects throughout the semester, designing and fabricating many components for the launch machine. I was also appointed as a Methods and Motions Divisional Leader for my division, which came with many responsibilities.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I greatly improved on my project management skills, as well as organization, planning, and prioritization.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of this semester was to see how much my company trusts me. They gave me a company laptop, my own desk, appointed me a Methods and Motions Divisional Leader, and I might be traveling to Hungary for the second time to help with a machine launch.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
I am much more driven to reach higher goals and have the confidence to help me accomplish them!
