Walters Gardens Inc. is a wholesale producer of perennial plants and has grown from a small farm of less than five acres worked by just a few men to a multimillion dollar corporation with over 250 employees, 1,500 acres of land, and 500,000 square feet of greenhouse space. Walters Gardens has its own tissue culture lab and adds approximately 100 new items to the catalog each year. Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
My principle projects consisted of software development. My primary project being to develop and launch a cross platform mobile application that allows users to manage productivity and inventory from their smart devices and perform operations that previously would have required a dedicated barcode scanner. Other projects involved testing and developing other soft and hard ware processes.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
A lot of software development skills and techniques. Coding in C++, C#, PHP, and TSQL. However I also obtained a lot of knowledge about business processes, and inventory tracking.

I liked the work that I did, where I did it, and who I did it for.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
In a huge way since I am planning to work for and have been hired by Walters Gardens Inc. after graduation.
