Description of the Organization
Fleetwood is a medium sized manufacturer of electronics and school furniture. It is an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) company, where the electronics division focuses on low-power wireless devices.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
During my co-op, I was tasked with product testing, documentation, research, prototyping, equipment troubleshooting, and PCB layout projects, among other tasks.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
This experience allowed me to gain experience in the manufacturing and product testing process, as well as design features that allow for ease of manufacturing and testing.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of this internship consisted of researching possible new product opportunities and providing support with a quick turn-around prototype of the research results.

This experience has influenced my career goals by developing an interest in wireless systems and design practices that allow for ease of manufacturing.
