Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
I am responsible for process development. I completed electrical schematics for a conveyor oven and developed a laser weld for hermetic sealing of lithium ion cells.
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I learned how to design and develop a process and take that process through a validation to the patent application phase.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of this co-op experience has been the opportunity to apply the skills I've learned at GVSU to design a process and take that process through development to the patent application phase.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
This experience has granted me an opportunity to think about the different areas of engineering and what I would like to pursue as an engineer.
