Terry J. Sabo is currently the Chair of Muskegon Commission and is running for the 92nd State House District. He has been a firefighter in Muskegon Heights for the last 25 years. The organization includes countless community members.

Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I learned much more about the endorsement process, voter data analysis, and public speaking. Our campaign also interacted with a consulting firm. I was able to learn a lot of skill trades from that consulting firm.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part was being able to meet members of my community and hear their stories. Working with Terry J. Sabo has been a great learning experience. I was able to network and meet a lot of the local and state officials.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
This internship reaffirmed my decision to pursue a career in the State Legislature. I was able to learn a lot from watching Terry J. Sabo conduct himself. Furthermore, I expanded my knowledge on legislative issues.
