Description of the Organization
The Windy City ThunderBolts are a professional minor league baseball team based out of Crestwood, Illinois and a member of the Frontier League, a MLB Partner League, since 1999. They play at Ozinga Field located in Crestwood, Illinois.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
As a promotions intern, I assisted with the set up and execution of all on-field promotions, including selecting the contestants to participant in them. I also updated the game script for the announcer before every game.

Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of this internship was helping create memories for fans through our promotions, learning more about baseball, and being able to see the best firework show every weekend.

This experience has helped me realize my passion for being involved in sports marketing, and it has influenced me to search for more jobs that allow me to get experience in this field.
