Incoming Students
All students declaring EXS major will take each of the CORE classes, and then courses specific to ONE of the THREE emphasis areas.
Core EXS Curriculum
Our Exercise Science curriculum is aligned for CoAES Accreditation. Within this major ALL students will take the same CORE courses, then choose ONE emphasis area (see below) to complete remaining courses aligned with individual career goals.

If you started the Exercise Science program PRIOR to the Fall of 2023, you will continue to matriculate through the existing Exercise Science Curriculum as found in your MyPath. The NEW Curriculum changes will not impact the courses you will complete to meet degree requirements within the major.
