We know that COVID-19 is causing feelings of uncertainty, isolation, stress, and much more. We want to make sure everyone at GVSU is equipped to help each other. Join us for a virtual QPR Suicide Prevention Training via Blackboard.
WHAT IS QPR? QPR – Question, Persuade, and Refer – is suicide prevention training designed to give every person in our community the confidence and knowledge to help someone at risk for suicide. This program dispels common misconceptions about suicide, helps students recognize the warning signs of suicide, and empowers students to save lives using the nationally-recognized QPR method of suicide prevention. It also allows students to examine the issue of suicide from both a social and multicultural perspective while considering their own role in preventing suicide.
