Vera Klement, Vera-Vision, a multimedia experience of art-making, music, and poetry inspired by the life and work of Vera Klement, April 2, 2021, 12-3pm

A drop-in style (in-person and virtual) multimedia experience of art-making, music, and poetry inspired by the life and work of Vera Klement, an accompaniment to the exhibition Vera Klement , on view in the Haas Center for Performing Arts Gallery March 4 through April 9, 2021.  

In a career spanning over six decades, Klement's work reflects an amalgamation of her many influences, from classical music to literature and poetry to modern art. This event will showcase each of these art forms alongside painting demos and a showing of the 2011 mini-documentary 'Vera Klement: Blunt Edge' by Wonjung Bae.

Virtual Schedule:
1:30pm - screening of the mini-documentary 'Vera Klement: Blunt Edge' by Wonjung Bae
1:45pm - poetry readings
2:10pm - a performance by GVSU's Chamber Ensemble
