Looking for a summer or fall internship opportunity? Semester in Detroit is now accepting applications from GVSU students for their summer AND fall programs. Learn more about the program at the SID info session:

Stop in to meet with GVSU advisors and program staff from University of Michigan and learn more about the experience!

GVSU SID students have interned recently at  Eastern Michigan Environmental Action Council, D-Town Farms, American Indian Health and Family Services public health clinic, Detroit is Different magazine and podcast network, Soulardarity, Hope Village, Alternatives for Girls, James and Grace Lee Boggs School, Sugar Law Center for Economic and Social Justice, and more.

SID is an immersive study away experience centered in the Cass Corridor neighborhood of Detroit open to students from all majors. Students live in the historic Cass Commons or in Wayne State University housing, take classes as a cohort, and intern at one of the many SID partners. Internship placements are facilitated by the SID program director.
