Depression and anxiety are among the most common mental health issues reported by college students. In fact, the 2006 American College Health Association Survey found that 45 percent of women and 36 percent of men on college campuses have felt so depressed that it was difficult to function. Depression and anxiety can leave students unable to achieve their academic and personal goals. The Managing Your Depression and Anxiety program assists students in recognizing signs of depression and anxiety in themselves and others and provides resources for treatment.
