The Majors Fair is a chance for students to explore degrees and career paths before declaring or changing a major. Each major is represented by a table staffed by faculty and an alumni volunteer who can speak about real-world career experiences. That’s where you come in!

Students connect best with alumni who have been in their shoes. You don’t have to work in the same field you studied – your perspective is valuable no matter your major. Choose a volunteer shift that fits your schedule.

Majors Fair will take place over two days and the majors represented on each day are split out by theme:

Wednesday, September 23
Education, Nonprofit, Public Service, Healthcare, Science and Research
2 – 4 p.m.
GVSU Valley Campus (Allendale)

Thursday, September 24
Business and Management, Communications and the Arts, Engineering, Technology, and Data
2 – 4 p.m.
GVSU Valley Campus (Allendale)
