LuWanna L. Williams, Ed.D. is an experienced education and nonprofit leader with more than 30 years of service across K–12 education, higher education, and national nonprofit organizations. Her work centers on student leadership development, program design, institutional partnerships, and creating pathways that support student success and mobility.

At Grand Valley State University, Dr. Williams serves as Executive Director of REP4 (Rapid Education Prototyping for Change), a multi-institutional alliance focused on learner-centered innovation and cross-sector collaboration. She also coordinates the HBCU/HSI Consortium, supporting graduate pathways and workforce-aligned opportunities through partnerships with colleges and universities. Dr. Williams is a core team member for the Black Boys and Men National Symposium, contributing to the planning and delivery of a national convening that elevates research-informed presentations and practitioner-led sessions aimed at improving educational and community conditions for Black males. In addition, she operationalized the Strategic Enrollment Management Leadership Academy and has provided faculty training connected to the TRIO P4 grant, strengthening institutional practice and support strategies that advance student success.
