Jason Cronkrite serves as the Executive Associate for Impact and Strategic Initiatives in Grand Valley State University’s Division of Enrollment Development and Educational Outreach. In this role, he partners closely with divisional leadership to advance strategic priorities, support organizational effectiveness, and ensure initiatives align with the university’s mission and long-term goals. Jason plays a key role in fostering collaboration across teams, strengthening data-informed decision-making, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement and shared accountability.

Jason brings more than 15 years of experience in higher education, with a professional background that spans enrollment services, accreditation and compliance, project management, and institutional research. Throughout his career, he has led initiatives focused on improving student experiences, enhancing operational processes, and supporting institutional planning efforts. His work emphasizes translating complex information into clear insights that help leaders and teams move ideas into action.

Grounded in a commitment to student success, Jason values collaboration and thoughtful leadership that brings diverse perspectives to the table. He holds a master’s degree in business administration and remains actively engaged in professional development, community service, and leadership initiatives both on campus and in the greater Grand Rapids area.
