1.  EIC Ex-Officio Membership: Review the committee's ex-officio membership to bring it into alignment with the current University structure and recommend bylaws language.

 

2. Elevating Student Voices: In collaboration with the Office of Multicultural Affairs, Inclusion and Equity and Student Senate, engage with students to elevate their voices in the equity and inclusion work on campus and report back to UAS.

 

3.  Update to- Bylaw Language: Review bylaws language, in consultation with the People, Equity and Culture division and Office of General Counsel. Make recommendations for updated bylaws language, including updating the list of ex-officio members.

 

4.  Teaching Systemic Racism: Review recommendations made by the GEC regarding teaching about systemic racism and make recommendations. 

 

5. Equity in Faculty Workload: Review faculty service loads and create some takeaways regarding issues such as reassigned time, community building, informal advising etc.
