Battle Creek Public Schools Student Teaching Internship Scholarship Application

Use the following application form to apply for the Battle Creek Public Schools Student Teaching Internship Scholarship.

This application should be submitted when you apply for your Teacher Apprenticeship. This provides time to coordinate with the Battle Creek Student Teacher Internship placements.

Students will be selected through an application review process and possibly an interview. Selected students must have successfully completed all Teacher Apprenticeship requirements and associated academic courses. 

Scholarships are awarded based on the availability of a placement and a mentor teacher meeting individual certification requirements. Scholarship funding covers full tuition for up to 16 undergraduate credit hours and up to a $4,300 stipend to help with the cost of housing, books, and gas.

Please Note: Final stipend amounts can vary, depending on students’ overall financial aid packages.
