Student Scholarships
GVSU Education Program students annually receive financial aid through scholarships and grants designed specifically for students pursuing careers in Education.
Scholarships are available for the Undergraduate/Initial and the Graduate/Advanced Education programs. Each scholarship is made possible by the generosity of individuals and organizations dedicated to preparing high-quality educators.
Please note that an essay is required for many scholarships. Each essay should describe how the particular scholarship will benefit you and should address the specific eligibility criteria for the scholarship.
Below is a list of scholarships for Education students and first-generation students. The Search filter allows you to look for specific scholarships by entering a keyword. You can view the criteria for scholarships by selecting "View" next to each scholarship title.
