About
Alex Jacobsson has worked in higher education since 2005, and currently serves as the Assistant Director in the Office of Certification and Accreditation. He joined GVSU in 2011 to serve on the college's Accreditation and Assessment team. Alex manages the Education program websites and many of the documents/forms for the undergraduate teacher preparation program, as well as meets with current and prospective students to explore the options and steps to teacher education programs.
Alex's passion for working with people through face-to-face communication inspired him to complete the Masters of Science (M.S.) in Communication program at GVSU. Although his work is focused on supporting students and providing information on GVSU's Teacher Education programs, his expertise in communication and media fits into his daily responsibilities.
