Description
A conversation for people interested in care based and community centered ventures. This includes home based childcare providers, early learning centers, youth programs, family support organizations, adult care or respite services, and community based education programs.
This session will focus on early questions around getting started, navigating requirements, and balancing care work with running something of your own. Hear from others exploring similar paths, share your experience, and talk through what support or resources could help you move forward.
Meet Our Facilitator:
Irene H. Sparkman
Owner and Director, Lil Love Bugs Daycare Center
As a dedicated daycare director, I am deeply committed to serving my community by creating a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for children to learn and grow. I take pride in supporting families by providing reliable, high quality care that gives parents peace of mind and allows them to thrive in their own responsibilities.
My role extends beyond administration. I strive to build meaningful relationships with each child, fostering their development with compassion, patience, and structure. I am equally devoted to supporting and empowering my team of educators, promoting a positive workplace culture grounded in respect, collaboration, and professional growth. Through this work, I aim to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of children, families, and the broader community.
