Taylor Preparatory High School opened in September 2013 to serve students in grades 9-10, expanding yearly until becoming a full college preparatory high school serving grades 9-12 in the fall of 2015. The curriculum is designed to not only prepare students to meet the State of Michigan’s High School Content Expectations, but also to meet the rigorous expectations of the College Board’s Advanced Placement curricula. The academy has built its program based on the following core values: Rigor, Relevance, Relationships, and Responsibility. Each graduate must successfully complete a minimum of two AP classes, makes successful application to college, and complete 60 hours of community service.
