Timothy C. Bulson, MS
Timothy serves on the Executive and Steering Committee as the Chair.
Timothy's career includes work as a communications professional, a health care planner, a grant and project developer, a Grand Valley State University School of Communications senior part-time faculty member, and a professional writer.
He is currently Director of Community Relations for St. Ann’s Senior Living Campus, where he is responsible for all internal and external communications projects. He is in his 19th year as a part-time faculty member with GVSU, teaching a variety of communications classes and serving on academic committees.
From 1987 – 2002 he was a Communications Coordinator with Butterworth Health System/Spectrum Health. He worked from 1982-1987 as a Grand Rapids Press reporter and began his career there as a freelancer while finishing up his Bachelor’s Degree in English from Aquinas College. He also attended Grand Rapids Junior College, is an Ottawa Hills High School graduate, and completed his Master’s of Science in Communications at GVSU.
Timothy worked a decade as a Regional Health Care Emergency Preparedness Coordinator on the federal health care preparedness project, specifically with 13 West Michigan counties and their health care partners who focus on improving health department, hospital and EMS agency response to potential mass-casualty, crisis, and weapons of mass destruction events.
