Tabitha (Tabby) Bennett, PT, DPT is a pelvic floor physical therapist, Tabby has been practicing for over 2 years in this specialty. She has training in a variety of pelvic floor coursework including Herman and Wallace and the Institute of Clinical Excellence. Currently practicing at Corewell Health Outpatient Rehabilitation in Grand Rapids, MI, Tabby holds a Bachelor's in Classics and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Grand Valley State University. Tabby also serves as a clinical instructor as part of her current role which nourishes her passion for teaching, and is a part of the pelvic health special interest group which refines clinical processes system wide. Tabby currently serves on the CLAS Advisory Board at Grand Valley State University, which highlights her passion for the value of a liberal arts education in the world of healthcare. Tabby’s background in classical studies not only helped her learn Latin to ease her understanding of human anatomy, but it instills in her the need to put a face and a person’s story to their statistics and objective data. As a healthcare provider, Tabby puts this perspective to practice daily to help her serve her patients better. Tabby enjoys her work as a pelvic health therapist to crush the stigmas and taboo surrounding women’s health and increase women's access to healthcare. Outside of the clinic, Tabby enjoys classical history, gardening, clarinet, renovating her 1930s home, and spending time with her 3 cats and husband.
